When Two Worlds Collide– Story Part 2: The Unexpected Hero
The busy market was louder than usual that day — people shouting prices, bikes honking, and in the middle of it all, chaos was building up. Tanya’s friends stood frozen as the group of local bullies started getting louder.
Bully 1: “Ohh look, someone’s trying to be a hero, huh?”
Rohan (smirking): “Trying? Nah bro, I am the hero. Now, how about you take your show somewhere else?”
Bully 2: “You really think you can show off in our area?”
Before Rohan could reply, his friend Gaurav stepped in — calm, but with that “I hate drama” face.
Gaurav: “I hate talking.” — punches the bully straight in the jaw.
That’s when it all broke loose.
Four bullies against two boys — Rohan and Gaurav stood their ground, defending Tanya and her friends. The crowd started to gather, phones out, some cheering, some gasping. Tanya’s friends were impressed… but Tanya herself just stood there, shocked, unable to process everything.
Suddenly, a louder voice came from behind — the leader of the bully gang had arrived.
Bully leader: “So, these are the heroes, huh?”
Without wasting time, Rohan looked at Gaurav — one glance was enough. They grabbed Tanya and her friends, rushing out of the market alley. Their footsteps echoed as they ducked into a nearby shop that was half-closed.
Under the counter table, Rohan and Tanya found themselves hiding — faces just inches apart. Tanya could feel her heartbeat racing; she didn’t know if it was from fear… or something else.
Tanya (whispering): “What’s happening… why are they—”
Rohan smiled faintly and gently tapped her head.
Rohan: “Shhh… it’s okay. Just stay quiet.”
She frowned, trying to push him off lightly, whispering again,
Tanya: “You’re unbelievable.”
As she started to stand up, Rohan held her hand firmly.
Rohan (softly): “Wait… they’re still out there.”
